How does it work?
We bring the bar and experienced bartenders to you. We provide the ice, house made mixers, garnishes, bar tools, water station, and recyclable cups (we do have limited glassware for an additional fee). You provide the alcohol and a day banquet license which can be found on the Washington state liquor board website for $10. You will have a consultation and tasting with Jesse to go over the bar menu and he can help you figure out how much alcohol you will need based on how many guests you expect, length of reception/party, etc. We recommend one or two signature drinks for your event in addition to beer and wine. This keeps the service streamlined and makes for an elegant affair.
How do you charge us?
We charge for the rental of the Sidecar, set up and break down, and bartending service. Our price includes travel within 25 miles of the North Kitsap Area. We will travel outside this range for an additional fee of $1/mile. See the Investment page for specific pricing and add-ons.
Bartending service- $50/hr per bartender. The amount of bartenders needed depends on how many guests you have. For example, 2 bartenders can manage up to 150 guests. More guests = more bartenders.

* As much as we would love to, we cannot take The Sidecar to the San Juan islands due to the precariousness of the ferry and we would have to spend the night. We can travel to Vashon and Whidbey and would charge for the ferry cost. Lastly, the "travel outside of 25 miles of Kitsap Area" is within reason, meaning within 60-90 minute drive of North Kitsap (the Sidecar is an antique and so we drive very carefully when hauling her :) ).
Can we have a cash bar?
As it is, state laws prevent us from selling alcohol. This is why we require the Host(s) to provide the booze before the event. We do everything thereafter to make sure you can enjoy your event without the hassle.
We can do a cash bar for a non-profit fundraiser where the proceeds go directly to the non-profit.
What is your payment/cancellation policy?
We require a 30% deposit along with a signed contract to save your date. Payment in full is due the day before the event.
Miscellaneous.....
We are licensed and insured. All bartenders carry a Class 12 license to serve legally in the state of Washington.
We only employ experienced professional bartenders. The Sidecar Mobile Bar is committed to providing excellent service along with our funky little bar. We strive to keep it classy. We are geared toward outdoor spaces, but can fit the bar in many Seattle area indoor locations.
